Overview of German nuclear power plants

Grafenrheinfeld nuclear power plant was shut down on 27 June 2015, meaning that there are only eight operational nuclear power plants left in Germany. As stipulated in the German Atomic Energy Act, the three newest reactors will be shut down in 2022, with the others shutting down in 2017, 2019 and 2021 at the latest.
